ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital, formerly ProMedica Toledo Children’s Hospital, is a 169-bed facility in Toledo, Ohio established in 1993, and has grown to be the region’s leading pediatric care facility. We offer a full spectrum of medical services to meet the unique needs of children from birth through adolescence.

We’re accredited by the Joint Commission. We strive to meet the highest national standards for safety and quality of care and are committed to continually improving patient care.
We’re the region’s largest Level II pediatric trauma center, providing high quality trauma care for patients during any life emergency.
The Hillabrand Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a Level III 72-bed unit providing care for premature babies as early as 22 weeks gestation and as small as 400 grams (14 oz). Our NICU has individual patient rooms designed to mimic the sheltered environment of a mother’s womb.
Our pediatric cancer specialists treat patients in our state-of-the-art, yet youthful and whimsical, Debbie Brass Children’s Cancer Center.
We’re the first dual-certified asthma program for treating both inpatient and outpatients by the Joint Commission in Ohio.
